Because they are fun & it is a game that a wholefamily can play together.
I bought the game on pre order & it was worth every penny. I admit solo player is a drag but the multiplayer mode is really good & is actually enjoyable. It is also more random then the other games so my 4 year old son can actually win without knowing what he is doing.
Why must we? Because we enjoy it! There is no shame in it!
I keep buying themto see if they're like Mario Party 2 but they never are
That's what renting is for.
i beg to differ. whiel i dont really care for mario party they definetely dont make nintendo produce crap games. just look at the upcoming games this year. MP3:C, SMG, Bwii, SSBB, MMMZX:A, LOZH.
I'm saying it makes them continue to make crappy Mario Party games every single year.
So games you don't like should sell bad? ok then.......
Yes, crappy games should sell bad and good games should sell well. This will get companies to release better games. If you keep buying crap, than they will keep making crap.
Mario Party 8 is already closing in on 1 million copies sold. Look for Mario Party 9 early next year.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean other people aren't allowed to. People buy it because it's fun to THEM. You're not part of the popular opinion, so don't be surprised that CHILDREN are buying that game...it's a family game, and it's been around for 8 years, so people know what it is and what to expect from it.
Why would they stop making them? To make you happy? All it would do is upset millions of people: kids, parents, and anybody who has 4 people or more over at their house often.
It doesn't hurt or affect you in any way if they keep making them, just ignore the fact that they exist and stop complaining on GameSpot's forums, because that's not going to prove or do anything.
TC, do you really think that if every single person reading this, or even everyone on gamestop stopped buying mario party games, would nintendo really stop. The party games have always been for the younger demographic. Blaming us for the problem is pretty much pointless.

I'm not telling Nintendo to stop making Mario Party games. I'm telling them to stop making BAD Mario Party games.
