I think that RTS (Real Time Strategy) games would work really good on the Wii, it would be more like a computer than other consoles and you could retain the left and right click (A and B buttons respectivly) it would be amazing!!!!

And the keyboard?

Also, when it comes to RTS on Wii, it will be like Pikmin or Little King Story.

This has baffled me as well. RTS on the Wii should be a given. And as Wintry pointed out, because there is a USB keyboard option already available I see no reason why you couldn't have a very good RTS to boot.

On a Side note, this would be another great use of the Wiimote that never seems to be applied... where are the DEVs?!

RTS works best on pc. I think the closest to RTS that we'll see are little king story, my life as a king and pikmin.

I have quite a few games for Wii and PC, in games for PC where the keyboard is perfect, Wii tend to just turn the remote, so why not do that and use the nunchuk as a mouse, just an idea. I really don't care if one comes out cuz PC will always own RTS games.

RTS on a console is a posibility. Your mouse pointer is the Wiimote IR. Throw in a USB keyboard support and why would this be different than a PC for an RTS? Other than perhaps raw processing power...

As far as Strategy games go it's ammount of depth is laughable.

RTS games are meant for the PC. They just don't work out on the Wii or really any console. Any that do make it on the Wii, whether they're Wii exclusives or not, will lack the depth to be considered a REAL RTS

I agree for the games. As for the keyboard, any USB keyboard can be used if you have updated the console to version 3.

Halo Wars..... well, probably not.

Starcraft 2 would be good..... and while Blizzard is at it why not include Diablo 3 too

also Pikmin is an RTS right?

None of those, World in Conflict, Warhamer 40,000, and Endwar.

Anyway unless they were used with the keyboard I'd have to see that the controls could be done right. The online on the Wii is awful. RTS games seem to have a hard time running on the 360 when taken from the PC and they usually don't look as good so I don't know how the Wii would do it.
