Well, if you have lots of GBA games, you can play them on a DS.

They're good for travelling.

And they're shiny when they're new. :p

Best way to decied if you want one is to go take a look at the games. If 10 or more games you think you would like to play then buy one. If not dont bother. It really is that simple if theres no games you wanna play its not worth it.

Well, fact is if you DEBATING whether or not you should get a DS, you shouldnt get one. Most people are certain they want a DS at first glance of the game lineup.

You should buy a DS cause its pretty cool and you can take it everywhere you go. Awesome games to play and its pretty usefull apart from playing only videogames.

I would buy the ds or the ds lite if you want to play BOTH gba and ds games.

but if you dont have gba games wait for the new DSi coming in late fall or summer. or whenever.

on the dsi theres two cameras.

it can take a sd card and quarter inch bigger screens

you can put music on it

you can search it on wikipeadia

I still think the cameras are not a legitimate reason to buy the dsi. The best of the 2 is only 3 megapixels. To give you an idea, I just ordered a 12 megapixel camera. 3 megapixels isn't even enough to get a decent resolution for a desktop background.

Look at the game lineup and the future lineup. If you find enough games that hold your interest then buy it. I'll save you some trouble from digging through the garbage to find good games......here are some games you can look up Animal Crossing: Wild World, New Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart DS, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, Pokemon: Diamond/Pearl, Elite Beat Agents, FF IV, The World Ends With You, COD:5, Moon, the Castlevanias, Hotel Dusk, Sonic Chronicles, Chrono Trigger, and there is many more.....
