I've read a few people's posts who actually support the idea of Mii's in Brawl? To those you want mii functionality, are you flippin mad? Here's a list of just some of the reasons why Miis should not be playable in Brawl:
1. Mii's are not superstar Nintendo characters
2. Mii's look generic and bland
3. Brawl's highly detailed look would be very arkward with generic Mii's walking around
4. What attacks what they have? And even if you do get the set the moves, that would take up precious development time that could be spent putting in actual nintendo characters in the game, or put in a create-a-stage mode, which Brawl needs in order to 1up on Melee.
5. And if you could give them the moves, it would be cloned attacks from other characters, or generic uninspired punch and kick moves.
6. Their dorky smiles would drive me up the wall.
7. It's insults and excludes proper character design. Imagine people rather picking a doll that was put together in 2 minutes than a true Nintendo icon that was designed months in development. I just imagine the announcement from the Melee commentator: "GANONDORF VERSUS.................................your dad?"Â
8. "Where Nintendo's All-Stars go toe to toe" - that excludes Miis!
Mii's could be the new fighting wire frames, or be a minor cameo appearance, or even be a some kind of trophy, but they should stay away from the roster. Â
