Why was there no news on Pokemon Black and White at E3?

We all know the 5th Generation Pokemon games come out in Japan in September....However they come out in North America in Q1 of 2011 so like January or february at best. Just wondering why they didnt even mention it?

Probably becasue its a "You know about it; why should we announce it?" sort of thing. Who wants to be be a Microsoft and show the year's lineup when everyone knows it already?

But seriously the franchise is selling second to Mario, and Black and White looks like they are finally breaking apart from the old formula and revolutionizing the series like Crystal did. So why not show it in the Press Conference?

Because they embarassed about how bad the Pokémon designs look.

It would have taken away from the 3DS. Nintendo didn't say anything about the DS/DSi in their show ( Golden Sun, and Dragon Quest were all ready confirmed) but they still anounced 3 new DS games after the fact.

I agree with Cruse. I really think, they just didn't want Pokemon stealing the show away from the 3DS in any way. The 3DS is a new system, and they want it to succeed, so to mention a new DS Pokemon game is coming out yet might kinda get people more excited about Black and White than the 3DS.

I actually think if anything, Nintendo will use Black and White as a sort of 'bridge' game like, "Look everyone, your Pokemon Black and White for the Nintendo DS can ALSO be played on the brand new Nintendo 3DS and looks great on it!"
