I have played hundreds of games... The games that are the most fun are ALWAYS multiplayer. With all the lame internet connection that Wii has, we need a game with strong CO-OP gameplay that is an RPG!! Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was a sick multiplayer game! It is just about the only game that allows you to sit down with friends (in the same house), kill monsters, get loot, and have some fun. I'm sure that many people have friends over all the time like me. We can't always play over the internet, so we need more CO-OP games! Where ARE they nintendo?? Does anyone know what the deal is?

I heard about this game called "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As King"... Then I heard it was coming out for WiiWare... I don't know exactly what WiiWare is but it doesn't sound promising. =(

My Life As King is a Wiiware game which isn't really a battling game. It's about building a city through collecting and, well, battling a bit but it's more oriented towards the sim part of the game. I don't know a lot of the details but it looks good.

Wiiware is basically downloadable games. It's just like the virtual console except it's new games.

Other than the one you listed, how many CO-OP RPG's are there? Also, I would just want more CO-OP games and online games in general. Another thing is that you should direct your complaints towards all game developers, not just Nintendo. BTW wiiware is the other section in the wii shop channel that will soon have new games for sale, made mostly by independent developers.

Ok so to name another co-op RPG there is Tales of Symphonia. The Kind of game that has CO-OP on local is what i'm talking about.

I also Have an XBOX 360 and I'm hoping for Borderlands and Fable 2 to have CO-OP. These days everything is so "online" oriented but the real fun comes from chatting with your friends while playing. XBOX live at least has headphones so I'm really pointing this argument nintendo's way.

Are you talking about that game on the Cube where the GBA's could connect to? I almost got that game but decided to get Four Swords instead. I'd really like another Four Swords, though it's no RPG, it would work perfectly with the DS/Wii connection.

The story mode in SSBB is CO-OP, but it sucks.

Yeah I got Four Swords too... That game was awsome with 4 ppl.

If you can, imagine Twighlight Princess fully CO-OP...Resident Evil 4....Bioshock....or even Mass Effect. Usually multiplayer is a just on the side. The Co-op in Brawl just makes boring into mildly entertaining. Most of these single player games would really shine in Co-op. It is obvious that it takes more time and money to produce a game like that but it would sell really well.

Yea, it'll have online Co-op, there was a demo at GDC but back on topic, I really want games that have both offline and online co-op (assuming Nintendo gets there act together somewhere down the line and releases a headset.)

I'm still hoping for a PSO game for the Wii.

A Baldur's Gate would be really sweet, but I'm sure that'll never happen.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance has a great co-op for sitting down and playing with another person. I've played it through with my brothers and it's a blast.

I agree, I have friends over all the time. We used to play Crystal Chronicles for hours on end. Online is good, but we need some games that can be played with a friend, without connecting to the internet.

I want a game similar to SNES's "Secret of Mana".... co-op slashing and bashing on that game was crazy fun! Why we haven't seen a direct, successful sequel to that game (stateside at least) is beyond me... maybe we have, and I just missed it along the way but yeah... some co-op, NON-turn-based RPGs would be more than warmly welcomed by me. My girl and I live together, and if a game is co-op and has a good storyline, it's much easier for us both to get involved and play for hours on end.
