Let's see, graphics don't make the game, they're only part of it. Wii games are generally made to be fun, not graphics fests. You want art, go to a museum. The controls are easy to get used to since you're not sitting in one place, you're moving, depending on the game, to what you see. So you're getting a little exercise.
If you want to watch DVDs, get a DVD player if you can, saves the console getting damaged. Games are for fun, not for placing on a pedastal and admiring from a distance. The Wii is just a slightly updated Gamecube with a different control layout, it's thinner, looks great, has some fun games like Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart, amongst others, and can sometimes link with the DS.
So what's more important? The fancy nonsense with graphics or the good old fashioned fun that games should be? It's a games console, not a priceless work of art.
