Gamespot and IGN still haven't reviewed the ds version of top spin 3, even though it's been three days since its release. Do they just not care about the game for the ds, are they too lazy, or could it be some other reason? Does anybody have a good idea about why they still haven't reviewed it?

There are only so many writers to go around... these websites don't have a back room of chimps crankin' out gameplay, they're average joe-gamers wearing t-shirts and scraping a living... the masthead on thesite just makes it look like more than is actually there. Maybe a fellow player will drop some opinions here, but as you've said it's only been three days.

Give 'em another week or so... I'd rather get a "late" review which is accurate than one that's been rushed to press without fully exploring the game.

You're probably right. Guess I'll wait a week or something to see if they'll write a late but thorough review. Still, even if they ignore the game completely, I might just go ahead and get the game regardless. I just prefer to read a review to see what the critics think of a game before buying it. Thanks for responding, though.

Hey, shut up tennis is awesome. I've been playing tennis for 2 1/2 years and if I do say so myself, I'm pretty freakin' good at it. People make millions of dollars playing professional tennis.

I would go on and on about that but I hate people who go on and on so I'll stop.

There are many athletes in various sports who make millions of dollars. The fact is, it's still tennis.

If you can make millions of dollars on it, then that doesn't make it 'just tennis,' amirite?

you guys probably shouldn't argue about this, so I'm sorry if I started anything. But personally, I really do enjoy tennis (been playing for about 3 years) and I'm just gonna say that tennis is no better or worse than any other sport: it's just different. Every sport is different from each other. It would be wrong to say that tennis is way better or way worse than another sport. I posted this thread because I wanted a good tennis game for the ds and I was anxious for someone to review top spin 3, the newest one.

But yeah it usually take a while to review certain games.

Tennis is a sport with a limited number of fans compared to other sports. And to me, yes, it is 'just tennis'. I have nothing against people who play it, but I just think the sport sucks. I'll stick to soccer thank you.

Well, you are entitled to your opinion. But take into consideration that tennis, along with soccer, is one of the most internationally played sports out of the bunch. Tennis may not be very popular in the U.S. but it does have a lot more fans in other countries, such as Russia, Spain, and France. Some famous tennis tournaments, such as Wimbledon, do get some pretty enormous audiences as the tournament progresses. Although I have to say, soccer does get some unbelievably huge crowds during important events.

I wonder if I can DEMAND GAMESPOT to review Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008. The reason is because its been at the Most Popular Avaiable Now section quite often, so it should be good.

IGN will probably review it eventually, because they tend to review everything. GameSpot probably won't.

I have all three versions of Top Spin 3; the DS, the Wii and the 360. The DS version is really nice. You dont feel like you missing out on anything from the console versions. The game play is fantastic. Fluid animation and really nice graphics and sound. I have been playing non-stop for the last two hours.....really addictive DS game. If you like tennis, this is a no-brainer.

Im impressed, the game improved. I mean it does improve specialy the frame rate. Unlike, Top SPin 2 DS, TS3 DS is great! I would give an 8.0. For all tennis game lovers, this game is for you.
