ok i have a question about wi-fi, there is a thing i see in stores called a wi-fi broadband thingy that plugs into your computer, my friend tells me that it might not work on your computer and i have to pay monthly is that all true?

You have to have windows xp because the computer I use is old and doesn't have enough space left for an update I still have windows 98 (but do have broadband so it won't work).
