My Wii doesn't seem to be able to locate my router.

I tried searching for an access point and I was told none could be found, so I tried manual setup and, after typing in all the required information, I got the error "51030 Unable to find an access point".

I have a Netgear DG834G router and have successfully connected a laptop and a DS to it wirelessly before.

Anybody know what I need to do to fix this?

Yeah, if you have encryption set up for your wireless then it's not going to work (last I checked). 8 months ago when I set mine up, i found that the Wii supported no encrypted wireless communications.

So, it's either that, a mac address filter, your router sucks, or... was your house built on top of an ancient indian burial ground?
