I'm attempting to play online with my ds but it's informing me my security settings aren't supported by my router. I have a netgear and when I click on the smart wizard it opens and then shuts immediately. I really have no idea how to change the security settings with or without this "smart wizard" but I figure I need it but the damn thing won't stay open. And this page from nintendo:

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/routers/Netgear/WGR614V6/index.jsp

is indecipherable to me. I'm afraid I have no idea what it's talking about. Anyone able to give me a bit of help? Thanks so much.

The link gives you the URL for your routings Settings Menu. Type http://192.168.1.1/into the address bar of your browser (The space where the URLs of webpages appear when you surf.). That will open your routers Menu.

If you are prompted for a login then enter, "admin" in the first box then "password" in the second box. Check the routers manual in case it is different but that is the usual default one.

Now follow the directions on the link.

Happy playing :)

Not all routers are compatible with the DS or Wii.
