I'll say yes, it's tough, probably impossible, to top a year that sees Metroid, Super Mario and Smash Bros. in the same year. And then you take in to consideration some other good games that are out;Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition,Super Paper Mario and The Godfather.Then there's games coming out like Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Ghost Squad andBWii. I don't think Nintendo can top that. Especially if they continue to move in the direction of stuff like Wii Fit.
The Wii is young in its lifetime,but 2007 will probably be known as one of the Wii's best years.I mean,Metroid,Mario,and Smash Bros. all releasing within months of each other; that's pretty amazing.

Hhhhmmm, it's first year (as it came out in November/December worldwide last year), so I'm going to say it's just the start, a benchmark for the Wii to propell off a reach greater heights than this year.
2007 will definitely be the best year for the Wii so far... it's not even worth debating.
As for 2007 being the best year of the Wii's life cycle, there's no way for us to know. It'll be hard to top, that's for sure. Maybe the year that the next Zelda comes out will also be chock full of great titles. If every year improves on the last, then I think it'll be safe to say that the Wii is one of the best consoles ever created. We'll have to check back on that in about five years. Which would be sometime in the 2020s. :P
The Wii came out Novmeber 19th 06 Add 1 year November 19th 07 add half a year and you get May 19th 08. Correct me if im wrong. On topic yes 07 great year for Wii..
