This is the official thread for all of the Wii's many accessories. LetsGet Started:

(All prices are in US)

Controllers & Controller Add-Ons

Wii Remote Controller(Yes, the Wii Remote is an accessory)

Developer: Nintendo

Current Retail Price: $40

This is one of the most revolutionary controllers in gaming history. It utilizes motion-sensing technology. You will never play the a game the same way again. You can really play golf or boxing the way it is really suppose to be played. It even has built-in speakers! The buttons are the D-Pad, The Home button used to get to the Wii's Main Menu, 1 & 2 button, Plus and Minus Button, and Finally the B button on the back.

Wii Nunchuck Controller

Developer: Nintendo

Current Retail Price: $20

The Wii Remote's partner in marriage. You'll be using the Nunchuck in most games you will play on the Wii. It has some of the motion-sensing tech that the Wii Remote has. It also has a joystick and two buttons: C and Z. It is so comfortable and fits perfectly in yor hand. And its only 20 bucks.

Wii Controller

Developer Nintendo

Current Retail Price: $20

Add the N64, SNES, and NES controller designs and you have the Wii ****c Controller Maybe the Wii Remote is not good for all games. But you are are going to be using this for all the ****c games that you can download through the Wii Ware service.

Wii Perfect Shot

Developer: Nyko

Current Retail Price: $15

So you like Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronciles and do not really feeling the shooting feel on the Wii Remote. Perfect Shot has the juice. Nice grip, a actual trigger that acceses the B button, and you can still connect you Nunchuck. You cant go wrong with this accesory.

Want to look cool around you friends while playing Exite Truck(cough cough) pick up the Wii Racing Wheel for only $10. Nothing fancy to it. Just stick your Wii Remote in and you're good. The best thing about it: It comes packaged with Mario Kart in April.

Wii Zapper

Developer: Nintendo

Current Retail Price: $25

Just look at it. It looks a sub-machine gun. How cool is that? come on!!! It can be used with games such as Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicle, House of the Dead 2 & 3 Returns, andMedal of Honor Heroes 2. It comes with Link's Crossbow Training

Look at the prototype:

Wii Jacket

Developer: Nintendo

Current Price: Free

Originally not shipped, Nintendo thought it needed something other than a new strap to protect its controller's from breaking any more T.V's. This Jacket has little ridges that will make your remote unslippable. One Wii Jacket comes shipped with all Wii Remotes. I know what you're thinking: Wait i bought a Wii before that I want one. Well lucky for you Nintendo offers to ship you some for free for all you Wii Remotes.

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/jacket/jacketrequest.jsp

Comes with 2 rechargable batter and 2 battery covers.

This is a bad thread

A Wiimote isn't an accessory, that's like saying tires are an accessory for a car.

Also you have the worst choice for SD cards, the fan is useless, and you show off the inferior charge stations rather then rechargeable batteries.

Don't listen to Jasonguy. No need to bash his thread just because he called the wii-mote an "accessory" and didnt put down rechargable batteries.

I think this is a really good thread for people who just bought a wii or are looking for some accessories.:)

Many stores consider game controllers as an accessory.

Also recharable batteries are not consider a Wii accessory.

Nice thread TC by the way. I suggest adding the new House of the Dead game to the Zapper list. Also it could help if you say it came with Link's Crossbow Training.

Also the mike is used for a game called Boogie and I think High School Musical and maybe something else.

Also the nintendo wifi usb connector has been discontinued so you might want to take that out.

I think this is a great idea. It'd be nice to add a quick "All prices are in US dollars" at the top. 40 AU dollars for a Wiimote? I wish!

Sure the Wiimote is an accessory. You only need one to play and it comes packaged with the console. Now if you want to accessorize your console with more remotes then you will have to buy them now wouldn't you? Of course this would change if you could buy a console without any remotes at all. It's a good enough thread. Add a mention of using rechargable batteries to the 'recharging' section, and a general mention of what type of SD cards can be used rather than specific brand name and I think Jaysonguy will leave you alone.

Cool thread. :)

I saw a lightsaber accessory yesterday that wasn't on the list. Also, isn't there a sports accessory package?

This is a good list, since it seems you put a lot of effort into it, adding pictures and looking up the prices. I knew most of this already, so it doesn't help me much. Still, good job!

And don't listen to Jasonguy...he's pretty much a troll who loves to think he's smarter than everyone else. Don't be surprised if he starts up his own thread about useful peripherals or one griping about how people call a Wiimote an "accessory" - which it is.

Funny because every electronic store you look at on the internet and go to "wii accessories" wiimotes/ nunchucks are there STFU

This deserves a bump I think there's more wii accessories than there are wii games out right now , don't forget the wii-fit board coming out, it'll be used for more games coming out.

Replace "think" with "know" and you'll be set

There's no reason to buy official SD cards since all you're paying for is the sticker. It's more useful to direct users to get SD cards anywhere they can for the lowest price as long as they're 2gig or lower.

There's no reason at all for the cooling fan. The only reason a Wii overheats is because the heatsink isn't on the board correctly and no matter how much airflow you pass through the Wii it wont prevent it from overheating.

The charge stations are a waste of money when rechargeable batteries work better.

If you're going to make a recommendation thread then you have to make one that HELPS the users. Not gives them false information or the highest priced alternatives.

Who said this was a recommendation thread? He was giving a list of all the accessories for the Wii. It even says so in the first post. "This is the official thread for all of the Wii's many accessories." Batteries are not accessories for the Wii. SD cards for the Wii is accessories for the Wii. The cooling fan is an accessory for the Wii. The charge station is an accessory for the Wii. Bob was right, some people on GS dont read anything.

Also I doubt insulting everyone will make you very welcome on this board.

Someone thinks awfully high of himself. Last time I checked, this was an accessory thread not a recommendation thread. Rechargeable AA batteries are not Wii accessories and the fan, whether you agree with it's use or not, is an accessory.

This goes out to all the people saying stupid comments. This is not a recommendation thread. This is an accesory thread just to show the many Wii accesories.

1. Wii Remote is an accessory

2. Batteries are not accessories

3. Memory cards are accessories
