Sometimes when I'm moving between channels and it's loading the main menu of the Wii, it will choke for several minutes. For example, I can exit the Mii channel and it takes 6 minutes to load the main menu. This is kinda rare, but it still happens once in a while. That happen with any of you?
i somtimes get a long wait then i start a game up and its just a black screen and after a while sponsored by nintendo comes up. i noticed that whenever that happens to me all the lights on the wiimote are off and i click a button and they light up but still dont reconnect. i realy have no idea why it does it but the wii isnt the best gming machine out there so problems like this are gonna be common
I don't have any problems like that unless I'm using a channel that uses the internet and my internet isn't on. nintendofreak_2
Indeed. WHY doesn't Nintendo add a "stop connection" button on the Wii Shop channel?? THAT is annoying. My internet goes down kind of often so this is a real pain.

i dont think youre wii is broken and if it is so is mine :( , but i just thaught of somthing u no the way nintendo said the will will check for updates by itself well maybe its checkin when you launch a channel and the wii cant handle the miltitasking and it frezes. and if it isnt updates it could be somthing like that

I keep Wiiconnect24 turned off because it makes the Wii run hot.
one of my games stoped reading!!(rayman) i mean my wii does recognise the game when i insert it but when i put "start"...it doesnt "start"!! it just doesnt read it and sometimes it tells me disc error or something like that. its weird couse i used to play this game a lot and then nothing! its not that scratched either(like unreadable). i dont know if its my wii or the game(hope its the game), ill have to see if my friends wii reads the game
I have heard of the problem. If you were updating and some internet connection errors happened your firmware got corrupted. Go back to the wiiconnect 24 and hit update to redownload the firmware. Fix your internet issues problems during updating can brick consoles or cause fubaring since the update is corrupted on your machine.
For me i dont play it for like 3 days or so then go back to play it then when im like pressing the wii button on the right low corner of the screen it locks up for 10secs or so but never does it if i play like everyday the wii punishes u if u dont use it..:twisted:
Wow. No, never. I have had no problems from my Wii, with the exception of a freeze during red steel, just once. I, of course, would choke that up to programming and not the hardware. Best of luck with your problem. I have no idea what to suggest.
