What does that wierd nub do at the top of the controller between ZL and ZR? It slides those panel things down on the back, but what is the purpose?? Why doesn't nintendo give out booklets with their peripherals?

well a third party publisher made a peripheral that will hang your wiimot in a plastic thing that goes in there, will help not to have loose cables, but like i said its third party, look for it in ign gear

I was wondering the same thing when I got the CC a few days ago. I notice there's 2 shutters that open on the back so I'm guessing a stand will come out to utilize it.

Yeah...isn't that the handle base to make the classic controller have a gamecube controller feel?

Yea, it gives third-parties more options, and who knows, Nintendo might come out with a peripheral for it in the future tooz.

Well if you turn the Classic Controller upside down and look at it when you press it, you will notice that the two slots on the back tend to open up a little bit more. I think it may be to attach it to something else, but I'm not so sure yet. Like the previous posters in this thread said though, it'll probably give third party companies flexibility, so I don't really know just yet.

Everytime you push it, an angle's wings explode and she comes spiralling to Earth.

Opps... I think I just ruined the plot of Stardust...

The classic controller will be attached to the wiimote in future to give it motion sensing and rumble for some games. To attach it to wiimote you use that mysterious clip at the back and an unreleased addon for your wiimote.

Question answered.

Personally it sounds kinda cheap though... They make you buy the controller, then make you buy the addon to attach them?

Nintendo say: $$$ > gamers

No, the attachment would come with any game that uses it, it would be a small piece of plastic after all. The classic controller on the other hand has internal components and is very usefull for playing vc games.
