I just got them yesterday and they're great. I mean, I don't even have 480p, but you can clearly see a big difference. I'm glad I bought it, and if you don't have it, I highly recommend you do so. So I want to know how many other people have component cables.

For people who don't have them:

You know that blue line that curves on both sides of the Wii menu and how fuzzy it is? And when you look at the Channels the text is all blurred and it looks like the colours are messy? Well, if you have component cables, there is none of that! All the colours are very vibrant, and in case your wondering, you can't get this by simply putting up your sharpness on your TV. If you have the input, get them, even if you don't have 480p.

P.S. I got the Nintendo brand ones.

EDIT: When i say i don't have 480p it means i don't have EDTV or HDTV.

I am thinking about buying them since I have a projector to use for the summer, but my standard TV doesn't have the proper input...

My TV doesn't take component, but the blue line that curves on both sides of the Wii menu isn't fuzzy at all, neither are the channels blurred etc. Because I use an RGB cable, rather than the composite one that came with the Wii. All the colours are vibrant etc but I can't get 480p with RGB, but then my TV doesn't support that either, so no worries.

When i click on the 480p option on my Wii my TV goes blue, and i have to switch the cables to get it back.

I got the component cables and my Wii still hasn't been delivered in the mail yet :P

I only have a 32" sdtv, but I can tell a big difference between composite and component, especially on the ps2.

I don't have an HDTV or EDTV so it'd be pointless.

I have two HDTVs-a 43" RPCRT 16:9 model and a smaller 4:3 LCD that's more like a SXGA computer monitor with a TV tuner and inputs tacked on. Therefore, it made sense for me to get the cables. And, just like on the GCN and Xbox, the difference is great enough that I'd never go back. Everything is sharp and not blurred, though this does make jaggies more apparent(and, unlike with a PC, you can't just crank up the resolution or the AA). Colors are more vibrant. It's just...you'd have to see it to believe it. (Now if all those stores would actually USE component cables for the Wii and the older consoles on HDTVs to show what they can REALLY do...all they ever do is just use the stock composite cables on their setups.)
