So I've know about the Wii for a while and my roommate just got one for Christmas. I have the thing hooked up to my TV in the living room. At first it seems to work fine and now I'm playing metroid.

At first if I moved the controller all the way to the right of the screen it would jolt and bounce back and forth to the top left of my screen (really annoying) it does this with the hand on the Wii home page as well. I've tried turning it off, reseting the controller, moving the sensor bar and nothing works.

I stopped playing it for a day and went back to it and it seemed to work fine for a while. Now I just turned the thing on today and it's even worse...only making it to the middle of the screen (when going to the right) and it jumps and goes everywhere.

Does anyone know of this problem and what to do about it?

I would first check the batteries, and then check your sensativity settings and your distance.

That does make sense, cause it works better at night. I adjusted the sensitivity and it seems to be working now...kinda odd.

Thanks

I had the same problem around Christmas time. If I turned the Christmas tree lights on the Remote would flip out. Turn them off, no problem...[=^)
