Wii Ejecting Problem

I have had my Wii since Christmas and haven't had any problems until now. I tried playing a used Metroid Prime, and for the first time it worked. Then laterI tried it again and the system will not eject the disc. Now there is not even a picture on the screen and the only way to turn off the system is unplugging it. It will not sync any remote and and reseting and unplugging/replugging everything doesn't work. It is not under the troubleshooting on Nintendo and I was just wondering if anyone had a similar problem and if so what they did to fix it. Thanks
