Wii elite????

is there going to be a wii elite coming out soon? i've seen some stuff about it on the internet, and i dont know if it is real or not. i'm probably getting a wii soon and i dont want to get one if the elite is coming out. So, is the wii elite real?

nintendo did state that they would build a wii with dvd and cd playback capabilities, but only when demand for the current Wii decreased.

They also stated that a firmware update would not be possible for current Wii's and they therefore would not be able to obtain these features

They said that in the future they see a version of the Wii made the same way as the Panasonic Q

Which means limited number of consoles and only sold in Japan, nowhere else

i think they would sell them wordwide. the cube wasnt successful enough as it is, the wii may have enough momentum. but yeah, japan to start with and then who knows. If and when this does happen, i hope they dont let another company like panasonic design it, the Q was hideous
