I got my Wii 3 days ago and I love it. They guy at the store told me about Wiiplay so i got it because I wanted the wiimote anyways. The first time I popped in the disc for it, my wii was making a really weird noise and then the screen went black and an error message came up! It said to take out the disc and restart the system so I did and it worked. Since then, it has happened 2 more times. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Should I got swap out my wii for another one?

My Wii never made that. I suggest to swap your Wii for another one, or maybe this is the game disc of Wiiplay.

Definately, swap for a new one, but first put all your save data onto and SD card and put your Miis in your remote (yes you can do that. you can do it from the Mii Plaza) so you can transfer all your stuff over. The error should not happen, so trade it for another one.

Does it only happen with Wii Play or does it do it with Wii Sports too? IF its only one game then trade the game in.

I'd trade it for a new one while you still can.

Yeah, try playing around with Wii sports for a while, see if it happens again.

Go get a new one. It shouldn't be doing that.

It happened twice with Wiiplay and once with Wiisports so its probably my wii. I'll go swap it today.

Call Nintendo. Your system would still be under the factory warranty. Swapping a store is a bad move with merchandise. Often times the other merchandise is defective since it would be from the same lot.

Make sure you put the disk in carfully. I happend to me too the first time, because the disk wasn't centered and it was skipping.
