A sequal to Wii Sports should beWii EXTREME Sports. The games would be:

Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Surfing, Paintballing, Biking, and as many as they can.

They can be extremely simple (as long as they have just a little more than Wii Sports). There should be online play and sytem link with 4 player splitscreen.

What do you think. This idea is god like. Please Nintendo please do this. Wii Sports was good but with some fine tuning the simple gameplay can be awsome.

Its called stirring creativity and trying to make your idea known. If I had exclamation marks near it then you are justified in thinking this game is being developed.

I guess you never get any good video game ideas. Oh well.

LOL exlamation marks? Maybe next time when u wanna "express ideas", instead of putting "Wii EXTREME Sports" as the title. You should put, "Ideas for a Wii EXTREME Sports game". Just lookin at the title of the thread alone makes it seem as if the game is really being developed. Think before you act.

You know, sure I like the ideas of the extreme sports you mentioned, but one stood out in my head: Paintball. How amazing would that be?!?! You run around using the analog stick, look and shoot with the Wiimote, do peaks by being crouched against a barrier and pressing the c or z button to lean left or right, the one or two button could be reload, perhaps they could have a headset to talk with other players....and if the Mii's are involved, maybe the ability to unlock different markers and trick out your gear like different helmets, shirts, etc. Oh man...Mii paintball, I'm totally in.

Exactly this is the one I would like the most. Not only because Im on a Paintball Team but because using the Wiimote for effective aiming and using the Miis to shoot the crap out of them would be pure ownage. I am thinking that the game should be behind the back third person view. There could be different guns but they have to be extremely accessible and easy to apply. I was think 4 player splitscreen, 16 player system link up and online play. I dont think CO2 and Paintball refills are necessary, they should just be infinite. See all the painball games I have seen are never good enough on a stand alone basis but with all these other games there with the Miis its perfect.

They could eve get it sponsored I am guessing by some of the major paintball companies.

That's actually a pretty good idea, but I'd like it if they kept all the original Wii Sports and added some more non-extreme sports too.

Exactly! Paintball companies are always trying to find ways to get their names out there and get kids to play. What better way then to get the kids, teenagers, and even parents into the world of paintball then with Mii's? Sure its not the same, but it gets the thought that, "hey, maybe we should go try this!" For me, paintball is something I can't really afford nor do I have much time to do it with all the work i do, but this could make for a great game, or even a minigame type scenario like Wii Sports. Minigames could include targe practice, bunker rushing, and leaning techniques. I think 3rd person behind the back is a good idea, but rather than centering the Mii, you do a Gears of War/RE4 side back view...and depending on whether you're right or left handed could come into play with that. This would allow for run and gun, but when you stop moving or get up to a bunker you go closer towards your character and when you zoom you can look down the barrel. I'd also hope for a "cartoony" look...simply because it worked well for Wii Sports and I think it would make for a paintball game that anyone would want to play. Sure it won't be a substitute for the real thing, but I can see playing paintball with my Mii online and with friends from my dorm hall. If nintendo is smart (or whoever makes the game) they could also make a map editor. You could make the map(s),  then launch a server and allow your friends to play online with you, or choose from standard paintball courses with blowup bunkers, scenario maps in forests, deserts, mountains etc with different buildings to capture or objectives. This could be good stuff...

well there truly is not a substitute for paintballing. But this would be the best way to go because all other paintball games suck. The Miis should get the gear like Face Mask and Paintball gun with the CO2, Hopper(where you store the paintballs), barrel, and all.

The shirts and shorts should be the same as regular paintball gear but whatever color shirt and pants your Mii was created with that will be the color of his shirts and pants. You can also had extra accessories like gloves and boots.

Remember all this stuff is only possible if they can keep it low key and very easy to apply to their Miis.

A Map editor is very smart. I like that idea. It would be very easy with the Wiimote to manipulate the toolsin a way that it is very easy to make new maps.

They of course can have theor own maps with places that are Mii oriented.

lol this thought just jumped into my mind. Nintendo should do a American Gladiators type game with the Mii's. Now not many of you may remember or even know about this tv show, but they had weird obstacles and challenges that would work perfect for the Wii controller. Now moving away from the paintball (since we've concentrated so much on that), what are some other games Nintendo could include? Sure biking and stuff seems extreme...but when i think of extreme...i think of cool types of racing. What about off road buggys or perhaps a simpler off road go-cart? They could tack that on and have different environments to race in. They could let you design your go-cart then race your Mii inside it. Maybe a roller hockey type game (since there isn't much hockey out there yet) that is set on a neighborhood street with the nets and 3-5 person teams. They could use the nunchuck and analog stick for movement and bashing/checking other players, and use the Wii mote to act as the hockey stick itself. Maybe you could just tap your wrist forward while hold a to shoot, holding down b and using your wrist to pass, and then just swinging it around while on defense (when near an offensive player) to poke check the other offensive player. Keeping to the street roller hockey theme would seem to work with a nintendo version of "Extreme" that parents, little kids, and teenagers could enjoy. Plus you could choose the Miis that you have created to make your team. (personally I'd use my Miis that i modeled after the main characters in LOST).

I don't see how skateboarding or surfing would work, unless it was a cheap rip off of SSX blur's controls, or they just used buttons.

Controls-Leaning left or right turns the character left or right, flicking up the Wiimote makes you jump, A button to speed up, B button to slow down, left or right on D-pad hits the characters left and right to you, while in air up and down on the D-pad does little tricks which speed you up

Vert-you do in air tricks on half pipes and things like that

# of players-at least 6 players

Multiplayer-4 player splitscreen,6 player system link up/online play

Levels~consisting of quarter pipes, half pipes, and full pipes

I heard someone in the Nintendo Europe Forum talking about a painballing with Miis. Sounds pretty cool and will deffinitly be made. I love Zelda and everything, but, Wii Sports is a lot of fun and VERY acsesible. Sometimes I actually prefer it to Zelda :o The Wii needs online play.

[QUOTE="WR_Platinum"]And here I'm thinkin there's a Wii Extreme Sports being developed for the Wii, what a waste of a thread.Keving7

Think before you act.

oh darn you wasted your life by reading a post. your 10 seconds is offically gone who cares? its a title. p.s. skateboarding? i dunno if u could do tricks that would be sweet.

word, I wasted 10 seconds of my life reading this/ GIVE ME BACK MY 10 seconds BACK!!! >=( lol

How does biking work? Skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing seem like they'd play similarly. Paintball would actual be a pretty good use of the Miis. Especially, if it came with a simple level editor. It would actually be pretty cool if it was setup so each player was able to place X number of objects at the start. It'd need online with TDM and CTF modes. Figure you can tilt the remote to lean. B could be for crouching, Z for crawling, A for shooting. A remote movement could simulate a reload.

Ive thought of that and what I have come up with is this:

Biking-

Controls-A makes you go forward, B button brakes, turning the Wiimote left and right makes you turn left or right, flicking the your wrist back makes you do a wheely, bringing the entire Wiimote up in a fast motion makes the whole bike jump, and while in air buttons 1 and 2 lets you perform tricks.

Content-Racing through levels like mountains, streets, grassy hills?, and things like that.
