Does anyone know if Wii Fit has a weight restriction? Cause if this game is geared towards better health and losing wait I think the board would have to support people up to 300lbs. It would be pretty lame if they had say, a 200lbs limit and you weighed 225lbs you would have to lose weight before being able to play the game.

If someone is 300 pounds and are serious about losing weight they should probably start somewhere other than Wii Fit.

They'd probably get bored starting somewhere other than Wii Fit.

The board itself can withstand up to 600 pounds of weight however it will only be able to measure up to 300 pounds.

I'd imagine that the little wii-fit board thing is indestructable because it's made by nintendo, but I don't know how much weight is the limit for the actual game.

Weight restriction is 300 lbs...so I don't think it will be as big as a hit here as it was in Japan. The whole idea of it is getting people to get up and move; America may be the wrong target audience.

Is the average american really over 300lbs? I also doubt that the average 400lbs guy will be interested in Wii Fit.

I imagine people who exercise lightly, the people who have an extra 10-20lbs to loose or the ones that want to look good for summerwill be the target demographic... I doubt the people that have 125lbs to loose will really care about this... (but if it helps just one of them get healthy well thats great!)

I read that there is some muscular training in Wii Fit but you might as well just buy a 20$ set of weight instead.

its not really meant to be your primary means of exercise. i think of it as more of a fun way to keep track of your stats and have a lil fun gettin in a bit extra workout in addition to your primary workouts.

If you're wanting to gain weight, the Wii is the wrong system for you. Grab a 360 and a bag of Cheetos, the only thing moving is your thumbs so the calories burnt will be very low :D
