Super Paper Mario. Not necessarily an original story when you look at its plot (then again, not many games have this at all), but the storytelling and writing is absolutely magnificent.
Yeah, Silent Hill: Shattered Memory has one of the best stories I've seen in a video game on any console. Other ones I would say have great stories would be Okami, Tales of Symphonia 2, and Fragile Dreams, although the experience of the latter I would say is better than just its raw story.
Arent the phoenix wright games on the Shop Channel? if so definitely THAT. and I'll promote Tales of Monkey Island again, getting through each chapter is well worth the effort, I dont usually like cliffhangers in games but it worked so well in that game.
silent hill, sky crawlers,madworld, tales of symphonia dawn of new world,no more heroes just to name a few theres a lot of wii games with great stories
