But they are good enough for me.

Like most in this topic, I'm a gameplay guy.

The longer the Wii is around, the better the graphics will get.

i think the wii's specialty in graphics is the way that they use the lighting. It easily makes up for the lack of detail in some games. LOZ TP had some of the most amazing lighting that i have ever seen in a game which made the game look 10 times better then it originally would have.

What are you talking about? It looks exactly the same as it does on the Gamecube.

Well, I'll admit I don't own a Wii and I'm not the biggest supporter of Nintendo anymore, but what I've noticed is they're pretty good at using what they have to its best potential, and focusing on more artistic designs and so on to create something that simply looks good. For instance, what I've seen of Mario Galaxy, while not necessarily "next-gen" graphically or whatever, still has a very cool and solid-looking design.

Bottom line is, while graphical horsepower is nice, it all really comes down to the presentation and artistic ability of the creators.

The wii has solid graphics; decent but for graphics I prefer the PS3; though the Wii has something the PS3 kinda lacks; a very awesome control scheme.

The Wiis graphics are good enough. Gameplay is more important. Great graphics dont make great games. PS3 is a good example of that.

It's not a PC, but no console is. Nintendo has a very talented team of artists that know how to squeeze the last cycle out of a system, though, so a killer hardware setup isn't required. There's no doubt in my mind that we'll see some beautiful and inspired art in Wii games in the near future.

Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros Brawl both look like they have amazing graphics and detail (art dirrecting has ALOT to do with good graphics). But good gameplay is more important. Personally I like the graphics of the 360 the best, the PS3 graphics look too shiney, I played a NBA live demo on one and didn't like what I saw plus the shineyness was making me dizzy.

The graphics are good enough for me, and I believe that next year the games will start to shine. It will never compete with PC, 360, or PS3 games. We all know that. But I think by the end of the Wii's lifespan it will distinguish itself from the original Xbox and become comparable to 360 launch titles. The Wii is undeniably more powerful than Xbox. IGN leaked the specs, and the Wii has a more efficient CPU, a faster GPU, more RAM, faster RAM, and superior architecture.

Mario Galaxy, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Metroid Prime 3, Brawl, Endless Ocean, Transformers the Game, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Disaster, Final Fantasy CC, and a few others already look like high-end Xbox games. A few of them probably couldn't be done on Xbox. The Wii's only disadvantage is the lack of programmable shaders, and that can be worked around.

The longer the Wii is out, the better the graphics will look. The games thus far have been average looking for a few reasons:
1. A lot of them are Ps2, Gamecube, and PSP ports.
2. Nintendo has only recently gotten the Wii development kits out. Most of the previous games were made on modified Gamecube kits and then ported to Wii.
3. Nintendo was not stressing graphical beauty at launch. Realizing this, and seeing the potential selling power of the Wii, the developers decided to cash in and rush games out as quickly as possible. Great graphics cost money, and it was so much easier to be lazy and make a quick buck. Ubisoft even admitted this, and I'm sure other developers have done the same. Now that the console is starting to hit its stride, gamers won't just buy games for the sake of buying them anymore. Developers know that they're going to have to exert more effort in the future.
4. Because of the problem with the dev kits, designers are just now learning the Wii's architecture. The kits only arrived early this year, and most games have a development cycle of several months.

wii graphics dont own, remember you paid for a cheap console, therefore it most lack something the other competitors have, and that is graphics. But the wii graphics are more like a mix of good and bad and i still cant tell if they own, cause look at all those crappy wii games and then you see mario galaxy and you just get confuse... im confused right no, i dont even know what to say.

personally what i think good graphics is, is that as long as i see something, i knew what that something was, it's good enough graphics for me.

so far not all the games on the wii have reached what i define as good graphics, but i am sure as time go on, it will have good graphics.

sometimes i feel that ps3 and X box, has already made things look better than they would in real life don't u think? (not that's a bad thing)

NO they Don't, I mean look at Gearsand other 360 and PS3 games, but they are still good, look Metroid and Mario. Shore I would love great graphics on the wii, but it's all about the gameplay for me. Because who wont's a game which is all flash no substance.

Hopefully, with less time put into tiny graphic details compared to the other systems, developers will spend more time making an artistic statement with what they have through character design, enviroment design, etc.

can't really tell yet by the graphics on metroid prime 3 but i'll judge when I pick it up...brawl actually looks very nice...colors are bright and theres a lot of bitmapping done. Q3-Q4 games might shape up to look very nice.
