Wii has sold over 20 million? Sony Microsoft can kiss nintendos ass

WHOYAAAAAAAAAAA, this will frustrate all the haters, oh ya at GDC didnt regie say they are producing the console at 1.8 million units per month? hmm, seeing as there is no sight of the wii's relentless sales that would put the wii at nearly 40 million units this time next year, wii will clearly outsell the ps2 in its lifetime, its almost halfway there! and all the haters will want it 2 years from now once the crap systems get old like they are now!

Yes Wii sells a lot of consoles but you fail to compare software sales. Xbox 360 dominates Wii in that section.

Dumbed down? Hillarious. TP was built for the Gamecube. If anything, it was "dumbed down" on the Wii. It had gimmicky controls, the enemies attacked less and there were less in general so that it would be easier to play for Wii gamers.

Gameplay wise, the Gamecube version was better. The only thing the Wii version has over the Gamecube version is that it's wide screen compatible.

im pretty sure if there are more wii owners then 360 owners and lets keep it simple not to confuse "at least one game can be assumed to be purchased for every wii owner in their lifetime" is a fair statement. with this said if there are more wii owners then 360 owners i dont know where ur getting the impression 360 sells more software if there are more wii owners who buy software just as much as the 360 ppl who can kiss my ass!TheTimidJerk

Have you ever looked at sales chart? The charts are often dominated by 360 games. The 360 sells more software, regardless if you want to admit it or not. At the end of 2007, it was confirmed that the 360 sold more software than the PS3 and Wii combined.

I doubt it was because you played it first. More like it's because TP was made for the Gamcube and not the Wii. It took advantage of what the Gamecube was capable of. On the Wii how ever, the controls were just a quick switch, the graphics were the same, there was no added content. It didn't take advantage of what the Wii is capable of. It was a waste of DVDs, really.

I'm going to go with the others on this one. The GC version was superior without the clunky controls. Aiming was well but was done just as well with the GC controls. I played both versions an, as stated by vashkey, the only thing the Wii version has over the GC version is the wide-screen compatibility.

It should. The next one will have been built for the Wii instead of the Gamecube unlike TP.

Don't get me wrong, the Wii is my favorite system, but please stop being such a fanboy, trashing the 360 with claims such as the fact that Wii sports comes free with the Wii, which makes it outsell Halo....It makes you sound stupid.

While you're right about it being assumed that every wii owner will purchase at least 1 Wii game...So? It can be assumed that event hough the 360 has fewer sales in hardware, it's still beating it out in software, in terms of more people buying more games. This is probably because while the Wii does have quite a few simply amazing gmaes on it, almost all of them are made by Nintendo. Most games on the Wii are shovelware minigame collections. That is until developers completely stop making money by using gimmicky controls for the Wii to accomplish mundane tasks and decide to create rich, deep games.

So, the Wii wins with hardware, 360 wins with software, PS3 loses overall. Everybody but fanboys is happy!

Arrows wernt a deciding factor by any means, just the aiming on the Wii was more fun. i agreed the Gamecube was the better version.

Do some research dude. PS2 has sold over 120 million units and continues to sell well. The isn't even close. It will never catch the PS2. Nintendo will not support it long enough for that to happen.
