If your into it, Guitar Hero three may be the game to get, but if not, Trauma Center (1 & 2) are both very good, as well as zack and wiki.
And if none of those interest you, including SMG and MP3, then you'll have to wait until february when SSBB...
Why'd you buy a Wii if you don't want Galaxy and MP3? Please don't tell me you bought it just for Zelda...

I dont know i played MP3 at a friends house and i wasnt blown away. And im not one for galaxy seems like too much a deviation from the others which i dont like.DonMega187If you've only played it at a friends house, you certainly didn't get the whole experience. Did you play through any boss battles? Did you solve any of the environmental puzzles. There's quite a bit that can't be gleamed from a short playthrough.
If you like thinking games, Zack and Wiki is a fantastic title.ThePlothole
Yeah. If you want a new Wii game, pick that one up.
I 100% agree with the original poster. I got a Wii at launch mostly by chance and after TP I can't find a single game for serious gamers. My wife loves the Wii because it's so easy to play and my 60 year old mother likes the Wii because it's so family-friendly.That's all nice, but I want M-Rated games for seasoned gamers who want a real challange. The Wii is just TOO kid/casual-gamer friendly. As far as nostalgia and loyalties go I'll play Zelda, SMG, Brawl, maybe even MP3C, however I want a solid shooter that utilizes the Wiimote without being hokey.pooponmeplease
The control of MP3 is far to be just ok, this is the best FPS control on any console, and there is Medal of Honor Heroes 2 soon. I don't understand why people complain so much about Metroid, this is one of the best game I played. Yes I like M-rated games but come on, people who need to see a M on the box to buy it, grow up, there so many criteria that define a games quality.

Zack and Wiki may look like a "kiddy game", but believe me it requires a lot more thinking than most M-rated titles.
Oh, and if you want a shooter, keep a close eye on " Medal of Honor Heroes 2". It's apparently going to have the best example of FP controls Wii yet.
Seriously I am a hardcore gamer and i thought the wii would bring a new level to my gaming but i havent seen anything yet. TP was amazing but I havent seen anything other than that.DonMega187
Well, check out the titles that have been mentioned in this thread.
I really don't think you played at Metroid Prime 3 or Resident Evil 4. People here seem to say that they bring something new on the gameplay. There's also Zack & Wiki. Childish graphics maybe but this game is very hard. There's also Medal of Honors Heroes 2. According to IGN, the controls are very similar to a mouse/keyboard and it's online to be played at 32 players.
Also, I'm a "hardcore" gamer and my wishlist is full of "hardcore games". I think the Wii is probably the most hardcore console. I support everything on it: the Virtual Console, my GameCube games, Wii games and soon the wiiware. I really don't care on online games. If I do, it's on PC I play not on consoles.
I think you don't follow any news. Stop playing at Halo and follow the news if you want to use your Wii.

For your information I have never played halo 3 and do not plan to I despise fanboys and I love RE4. but i feel that the wii does not really cater to the hardcores just the more casual gamer.

That really all depends on your definitions (EVERYONE has a different idea of what a casual and Hardcore gamer is).
Ifeel the same way,DonMega187.
Give me some epic games for the Wiion the epic-ness level of Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, or Unreal Tournament 3.
Sure, Medal of Honors 2 has 32 player online, but after seeing a few videos of it, I don't plan on getting it. It looks like a shooter I played on the PC 3 years ago. Not only the graphics...did anyone notice how the players run strangely?
Sure a game isn't all about the graphics but when comparing a FPS on any other console with a FPS on the Wii is like night and day. Playing a FPS on the Wii feels like settling for 2nd, if not 3rd, best. I have Resident Evil 4. Despite the outdated graphics, I think it's pretty amazing. I can play a single player FPS with subpar graphics as long as the story and gameplay carries it, but when I'm playing an online FPS, I want it to look and feel great.
