Wii improvements

well the wii has been out quite a few months now. so i was wondering if ppl can think of any improvements that nintendo should make for the system. does the channel screen need changing? could there be a better version of the nunchuck? what improvements to the existing channels would u make and what new channels would be really useful?

keep it in the realm of possibility and dont mention anything that would need the entire system replaced (so no faster processor/more ram or anything like that). also theres probably little point in mentioning better games as they are coming. finally keep it constructive please. keep comments like "weather channel sux" with no explanation on how u would improve it to a minimum please.

seriously ill make a start on that though. overall this is a nice service. its updated on a pretty regular basis and is usually pretty accurate. i wouldnt use it before going on a boat trip or anything but it gives a nice general gist of the weather for the day. however i wish i didnt have to go into the program to get a detailed look at the weather for my area. it would be kewl if i could click on the weather icon in the channel screen and get the breakdown there and then....no need to load up the app to do it. same would apply to the news channel....perhaps having the top headlines available without needing to go into the app itself.

wiiconnect 24: nintendo have a great system here and its criminally under used. there are alot of things nintendo could do with it to let ppl know whats going on. when VC games are released...id love ninty to send me a mesage letting me know about them. if an update to a VC game is released id also like to know. if nintendo have announced a release schedule for wii games...why not send a message to everyones wii letting them know? it could be a great way of keeping everyone informed.

boot up time: its fine when theres no VC games on ure wii but if u have loads then boot up time can get quite silly. its understandable (the OS needs to find wii games before it can display the channel screen) but ninty should really try and reduce it. perhaps if they moved all vc games into their own sections and only perform a search when u click on a section, that would help. it would also make the channel screen a bit neater by having all vc games in a sub list under their respective platforms.

argh dam html errors. had a big post replying to alot of u guys but it wouldnt allow it.

keeping it short: changing themes based on game entered and customisable themes would be kewl indeed.

demo channel (for wii and DS) would be really sweet. more memory expansion options would need to be allowed though no doubt.

wireless addons would be nice.

All I want is WiiWare and the big 3 and I'll be good with my Wii for a while.

EDIT Oh yeah, and MK:Wii and a few unannounced games link AC:Wii

I don't have any VC games though I could see where a folder option would really improve organization and boot time for those who have quite a few. I agree that the Wii Channels we have now are a little useless... Wii Weather is kind of fun, Wii News is convenient, Internet Browser is great but novel, and the Everyone Votes Channel goes right in the crap heap. When are we going to see an internet radio option, an RSS feed channel, or something besides silly little apps that do nothing?

it would be nice if they can add on different interface, themes, or skins in the main menu

similar to the xbox 360 i guess

it adds a bit of individuality and creativity to the wii

it can be a simple downloadable content

they can even charge if they want, i just want the option of being able to do it
