Wii Impulse Buy?

For how many of you was the wii an inpluse buy?It was for me.Please don't flame me.I would just like to know.Sorry if i offend you.Please post and maybe tell ewhy.

Not me, i Planned toget if for months.

i Pre-Ordered it in June 2006 and got it Lanuch Day. 

If you think Wii is an impulse buy, I'll say the PS3 is an impulse buy.

I'm waiting for the console since it was called Revolution.

Waited in line at Toys R Us for a few hours.  I couldn't wait to get my hands on one.  I am kind of inbetween games on my 360 so I figured it would be great to play Zelda and Paper Mario for the next few months.  The Wii is way too much fun.  Graphics suck compared to my 360, but it isn't always about graphics......

I wanted the Wii when it was called the Revolution.jbrittain

How does anyone go into a store and sees a Wii and goes wow I think i'll buy that. Not wanted one till that moment?:roll:kingpoopa84

Kinda; I got it for my birthday,but I wasn't expecting to.

Nintendo is basically using the buisness strat this gen that they have been using with the Gameboy for a very long time and its working. 

Impulse buy?

I was considering buying one, but didn't think I'd find one. I wasn't really sure if I wanted to spend the money on one, but then I saw one in the store and thought "Whet the heck, might as well". So yea.... kinda.
