wii is getting easyer to find

i am in canada and for 6 month i had never seen a wii in shops . but these days when i go to toronto with my girl friend she finds a few in stores . i am gonig to get a wii after my b day cus i am getting 16,000$ from my grandma cus i am an adult now .iamanoobkillme

Listen my Wife and I blew our $20,000  in less then 1 yr. Please do your self a favor and save as much as you can. Don't make our mistake. We could have saved to buy a house or have savings for college for kids someday. There is no way you can live on that for a whole yr. Trust my on this. the money goes really fast.

what you dont need to do is blow it on your girlfriend.... 1) she will come to expect nice things all the time, 2) ya'll may break up at some point and you will have nothing to show for all your money spent , 3) 16,000 may seem like a lot, but spread that out over the course of your life and you'll realize how little that is...

you should defiantly think about how you can use your newfound wealth to make even more money for you, i.e. an investment of some sort. if you dont do that, then you should go to college or get some sort of specified vocational training.  i'm 27, btw so i know the importance of higher education. 

Schooling really in my opinion is not that great at determining whether you are going to have a nice job or not.  I am going into my fourth year of college and have learned that schooling in the long run will get you nowhere if you aren't a person who is willing to work.  There have been filmmakers to not go to school and now are famous and living a life they enjoy.  My cousin didn't go to college and he is making a quarter of a million every year.  If he doesn't want to go to school, why does he have to.  He may study and practice at something which he wants to become and school would just get in the way.  Don't lecture him on whether he shoudl go to school or not, because when you look at it the hard worker is going to make it over a lazy bum with a degree.  But I do agree with everyone on you should invest that money after you buy the wii and some games.  Good luck finding one, they are still kind of rare where  live.

for 16,000USD, you plan really sux.

even just buy a car along with a ok job will give you and your GF a WAAAAY more better life and you still can have your wii soon.

No one is "in" to school..its theres so you can..you know, have a job that doesn't include flipping burgers.
