Per Nintendo website:

"Error Code: 32017

There appears to be an issue with updating your Wii console.

  1. Try and perform another Wii System Update on your Wii console (how to). 2. If you attempt another Wii System Update and still receive this error code, please call 1-800-255-3700 so that we may assist you further."

Try this link also if you ned to try updating again. But make sure you dont alrdy have 4.3 when you go to system setings to verify what you currently have.

Did you try putting a new Nintendo game in there like Donkey Kong Country Returns and update it from that? I imagine that has the newest firmware as the Wii hasn't updated in a few months. You can always try changing the channel on your router too. I had to do that with mine to access the shop channel.
