I have the USB Wi-Fi Connecter, it sometimes doesn't work very well. I wounder, is the LAN Adapter better? Is it faster? I've learned that It is more reliable, and it can be connected directly to your router, so you don't need to have your computer on to use Wii online.

I have one. I don't know if it's faster, but it's very reliable.

You're better off buying a wireless router so you don't have the cords all over the place.
Yes LAN can be faster but in a console application you'll never see the speed.
Most people don't even have an internet connection that maxes out a wireless B router let alone a G

What speed is your internet connection?

I hope you mean 54 Mb/s and 100 Mb/s...

802.11g which still is the standard has a transfer rate of 54 Mb/s (54 Megabits/second)

I don't think most people have a router with high enough throughput to able to max there bandwidth.
The D-Link 604 for an example only has a throughput of  8Mb so any connection faster than that will get bottlenecked.

I have a 24 Mbps connection. I don't want to buy a wireless router because then I have 2 routers, and it will confuse me. I'm not good at this (I cheated at my Cisco exam). Having ADSL router already means I HAVE to use THAT router to get my connection right? Plus if I get wireless router I must get a wireless NIC and will have even worse ping when i play BF2 and I don't want that. The USB 2 connection will limit the speed. I don't know the exact speed of it, but I don't think it will stream in 100Mbps.

Yes that's going through something, if you're talking from computer to computer you're going to max out at that speed.
We're talking about the actual wireless signal, I get over 15 on my wireless laptop for downloads

The Wii is never going to be connnected to a computer so there's no point
