You can use the SD cards as storage of the games but you cannot play them directly off the card. You must switch things from your machine to the card and vice versa. It sucks, I know.Rocky32189
what really?! well thank god I didnt buy that thing but my sis so is that all you can do theres no other choice?
dont buy the wii cards, you can use any sd memory card and wii ones are insanely high.Twisted-Ice-God
yeah but can anyone give me step by step in how to do what I want to do, saving a game in a memory card and then playing it in the Wii?
I havn't had a problem redownloading games I have already paid for on the Wii so I think you are safe...
The Xbox 360 on the other hand...
You can't. The games will only run from the Wii's built-in memory. They will not run off the SD card.
PLEASE NOTE: If you run out of room for VC games on your Wii, you can DELETE THEM and download them again later FOR FREE. There is NO NEED to "back them up" on an SD card. This will also be true for the larger WiiWare games. Buy them once, redownload them for free.

True, though unless you have a decent connection speed, this can prove to be a serious pain.
can you use ANY sd card even ones that aren't wii specific? Fingerella69erA Secure Digital card is a Secure Digital card, so yes.
Is it true u can listen to music on ur wii with them?Fingerella69erSorta. The two titles Excite Truck and Endless Ocean can play MP3s in the background. The Photo channel can also play music during a slideshow (only MP3s if you haven't updated the channel, only AAC support if you have)
