Ignorance is bliss I guess, accurate 1:1 motion isn't possible without M+, yes, it makes a huge difference.

that. when i played wii sports resort for the first time (ignore the reviewers, even what they complained about *cough*cycling*cough* is fun. you gotta play for yourself and see what you like and what you dont) i was surprised by the accuracy seen in swordplay and archery.what game are you playing that you don't notice it? all the M+ games currently available show off how much better motion sensing is with M+ (with the exception of a few of the games in WSR). Revolutionary!does anyone notice a difference withe the new WMP? can anyone enlighten us further on the subject? it seems the same as without the attatchment to me

I played Grand Slam Tennis with WM+
It was not 1:1. I kept switching between WM+ and the regular Wiimote, and I could hardly tell the difference.
play wii sports resort. rent it, if you're one of those "i dont wanna pick it because it looks like a demo" people (your loss). most stuff you see there is impossible to do with a regular wiimote.I played Grand Slam Tennis with WM+

well just because a game doesn't interpret the M+ as 1:1 doesn't mean it can't read it 1:1. Play TW10 or WSR and you'll see the 1:1 that is possible. Personally I don't like GST with M+ anyways,, Virtua Tennis works well though.I played Grand Slam Tennis with WM+

who sold you a M+ for 35 bucks?! they cost 20... anyways I think we've all gotten over this and moved on to enjoy the greatness of M+.. you should too!I will add a new one, bull because nobody should have to pay 35 bucks for something that should have been there in the first place.

That is exactly what I was thinking. TalesofRaGnArOk, you can't judge WM+ by one game-- play Tiger Woods 10 or WSR, like Bruno said, the 1:1 ratio then comes in.I played Grand Slam Tennis with WM+

Don't let Grand Slam Tennis ruin it for you
EDIT: jukitup, I wrote this post before reading yours :D It sounded just like yours :P

I would have to get over the hate for my Wii first, but think about it, if you get a game that is only m+ and you want to play multiplayer with three other people, that is 80 bucks you have to pay for something that should be free.

What, but you don't do that on other systems? No there are no addons for the 360 or ps3 controllers that are required for certain games.
All i have to say is that when playing swordplay, i can make strategic swings and hit my friends on the opposite side of where they were blocking.
Frickin sweet.
Regardless of add ons, the controllers for the 360 and PS3 are a lot to buy. But thats completely off topic. I think the Wii's Motion plus is great and for $20 dollars a bargain.
jorler333
The Wiimote is 40 and the nunchuck is 20, so the controllers are the same price. 4 360 controllers=240, but 4Wii controllers(complete) pluse 4 m+=320.
That's exactly how I feel. Everyone I play with just goes crazy, but I sit back and block it, waiting to strike. It's funny when I only take like 4 hits and send them flying off the ring. Best feeling ever :DAll i have to say is that when playing swordplay, i can make strategic swings and hit my friends on the opposite side of where they were blocking.

Am I alone? I highly enjoy cycling. Altough, I don't really like golf on WSR.[QUOTE="jorler333"]

I have Wii Sports Resort and the only two sports I can complain about control wise is Cycling and Golf.
sman3579
I dont see how anyone can like cycling.
I guess I am alone  Sure the controls are rough, very rough, but once you look past that, the racing is pretty fun. I've only played Cycling with two people, so maybe this is the reason.who sold you a M+ for 35 bucks?! they cost 20... anyways I think we've all gotten over this and moved on to enjoy the greatness of M+.. you should too![QUOTE="jukitup"][QUOTE="TalesofRaGnArOk"] well just because a game doesn't interpret the M+ as 1:1 doesn't mean it can't read it 1:1. Play cheap and get only one and alternate (total of 2 Wii motion pluses). You can technically play all of the games multi-player.

maybe its because i like cycling in general, but i really enjoy the cycling in WSR. i dont get the hate. imo its one of the most tactical games in the whole package. u have to get behind other cyclers to save energy and its important when exactly ur going to attack. there could be a really great cycling game with Tour de France, Milan San Remo, Fleche Wallone etc. and all the original teams. that would be great. about WM+ in general: i didnt notice any huge difference in GST but WSR shows it. especially in sword fighting, but i also think table tennis wouldnt work w/o WM+Too early, awaiting more titles to see if it reaches revolutionary staus.
Improvement, hell yeah.
The BIG issue as far as Im aware for an advancement in motion controls is tracking BOTH arms and legs which isn't easily achieved on the wii, especially as the majority of games require the nunchuk for character movement.
I want to know if a publisher is brave enough to make a boxing game where TWO WM+ are required for each arm, therefore rendering the nunchuk uneccessary.

I've only played Cycling with two people, so maybe this is the reason. dont worry, i like it too. takes a while to learn how to make sharp turns and still manage to stay on the line (like with the jet ski), and the gameplay has absolutely nothing to do with actual cycling, but it's really fun. What, but you don't do that on other systems?[QUOTE="jorler333"]

lol, natal? eyetoy? ignorance really is bliss. microsoft and sony are always gonna be worse for trying to squeeze money out of things, sony rereleased they're controllers with vibration! (and they were flipping expensive! I have a ps3!) and back in the days of ps2 the eyetoy was not cheap, and neither will the new thing they are releasing. then there is microsofts natal... gonna be a fortune if it actually has that technology (but I suspect that most of the technology is software and not hardware like they're trying to say, since everything could be done with 2 well placed cameras and a heck of a good programmer) then the list of addon only games! lips / singstar buzz any game requiring xbox live lights camera action guitar heroes rock band getting older, then eyetoy the light gun games dance mats games that required the ps2 harddrive the steering wheel now I'm not saying that any of these games addons where bad, but when you argue that microsoft and sony don't make you buy new stuff to play games, well your wrong. Actually they are very happy to, and the more you buy the happier all the companies involved are. I have accepted this and am happy to buy a peripheral as long as it is well supported, and the motion plus is!Please Log In to post.
