Wii, no light?

Hello

my wii will not turn on, and the red light is also not on

i have unpluggedit and plugged it back in several times, i have left it unplugged for 5 hours then plugged it back in and still no red light???

this has happend one time before, and i did somthing to make it turn back on.....sadly i forgot what i did and i also forgot were i found the information

can anyone help me out here?

maybe your power cable is damaged, do you have a gamecube? you can use the power cable of the gamecube

idont have a gamecube (hence why i got the wii, which can play GC games)

yeah, my friends wii power cable fried, and she used the gamecube power cable :D cool huh?8)

Do you press the power button on the Wii Remote or do you manual turn it on via the power button on the console.
