Wii online amount of players?

hey im just wondering about wii's online capabilities. I believe that with the ds the game with the most amount of players online would be dk racing (6 or 8 players i cant remember.) Do you think that the lack of players per server is due to the power of the ds or the wi-fi in general. I sure hope the wii will be able to support alot more than 8 players in online games (fps's for sure.) I know that the wii is just as and a little more powerful than the original xbox so does this mean it will be able to support just as or more players online than the xbox can?

Hopefully there will be more players I have medal of honor heroes for my psp and it can have up to 32 players online in 1 game so the Wii should definetly be very capable of it Link19619

o good. yes if the psp can do it, im sure the wii can. we must prove the wii haters wrong! anyway, all i ask for is a game that can be 4 on 4 or 8 on 8. then i can suck all i want and not be cursed at.

The Wii only has 512MB of RAM so I'm guessing 16 at the most and probably 4-8 for most games.User10293

I'm not so sure thats a factor because the xbox 360 has 512mb of RAM and the PS3 only has 256mb of RAM.
