I have some of those. Dawn of Discovery, Battlion Wars 2, and Little King's Story were mistakes. Nothing else on that list really interests me. Some, like No more heroes, just looks bad,

lovin' my wii since day one. and mad props for putting ebots into the top 3. the bottom line is that some people simply hate on the wii because they think it makes them "cool" kind of like 14 year olds smoking cigarettes, it's just dumb.

1. There's a think called a period TC. It's that little dot you put after a sentence, try using it instead of a billion exclamation points, this isn't that exciting. Plus, more than 1 exclamation point signifies insanity in speech when looking at the literary world. 2. Everyone has different preferences. This rant is blog worthy. Goodbye.

Haters all the same, just looking for attention. I'm happy with my Wii, though I wish for more Zelda & Fire Emblem, but that's just me.

The real problem with the Wii is not the games....its the advertising. 3rd parties push "carnival games" and it sells 2million copies. Then you have good 3rd party games come out like Madworld, LKS, Conduit....and there is no advertising. You dont see much about them in magazines, tv etc... and then they wonder why they dont sell. game informer writes a 5 page preview for a game, 2 full page review for it when it comes out. But when a big wii game comes out, it gets put in a 1/4 of a page review and gets a higher score. I am just making an example, this happens with almsot every mag, site, store you go to. nintendo has always been a family console, and that hasnt changed. But for some reason(mainly advertising) Wii is seen as a kiddie console, where 360 is mature. I've never been happier with a console then i am with my Wii. 40+ games not to mention VC/Wiiware(like 30 now) so i dont think there is any problem. And i have my PC for a few graphicially highend games.

absolutely. then the other side comes along and advertises as being for real gamers and you start getting the divide. I am very rare in that I do not watch any television (unplugged it in 2000) and do not listen to any radio. it's nice not being bombarded with commercials.

It's just that the 360 and PS3 versions are always better. I would rather pay an extra $10 for current gen graphics. But yes there are a few Wii exclusives that are worth the money.

I really hope more 2D games like The Demon Blade come out. The Wii should stick to what it does best, 2D and leave the 3D stuff to the 360 and PS3.

I have no problems with the Wii. Sure, there's a lot of garbage out there for it (and I mean a LOT) but there are good games too and I enjoy that it's different enough to offer an experience I can't have with my PS3, 360, or PC. If every console was the same it would be boring.

Not always, if we are to go by gamespot scores, Sonic Unleashed scored considerably higher on Wii (7.0) than it did on PS3/360 (3.5). Of course this is all opinion, but then again, I like the idea of the of using the Wiimote in the guitar shell for Guitar Hero, so my opinion is that the Wii version of those guitar games is better. I know you don't like them, so it may be a total bad example. I liked World at War more on the Wii than I did on 360, yes I did play the actual 360 version, guess which one I bought.

Really you bought the Wii version? I played it and thought it looked like garbage. I've seen better on 4 year old ps2 FPS's. And with the Wii Guitar Hero, I think since you supply your own wireless device it should be cheaper then the others, I'm willing to bet there a heck of alot cheaper to produce!

What's wrong with that? It's the controls that make or break an FPS, and the Wii has the best controls out of any console. I have no idea about guitar hero -- I've never played, don't really have any interest in playing, and even if I did, I wouldn't pay full price for it.

That I did, I just happened to have liked the control setup more on the Wii. I also got Guitar Hero and and Sonic Unleashed on the Wii. True, it should be cheaper to make the guitar shells for the Wii, but it should not be much, and generally the Wii version's of the guitar games are $10 less.

thats a load of bull!!!! look at monster tri, they can push the graphic envelope if they want to its just developers are to lazy and gives a half hearted effort!! does mp3 look bad no,ssmb looks bad no,smg look bad no,they can do it if they want!! its as they say they just perceive wii as a kiidies console, look at marvel ultimate alliance 2for eg.xbox and ps3 they beef up the graphics and for the wii they make it a childrens cartoon, and graphics do not count for everything how many great looking games are there with breathtaking graphics and the game play sucks and it ends up with a very bad reviews!!

It is pretty annoying hearing the complaining, but we do have a reason to sometimes. Just not as much as people actually do.

The biggest irk I have is trying to persuade people that do not like the Wii, and naming fun/cool games (imo) and there actually is a reason to own one.

Of those 12, I have 6. of those 6, 3 were mistakes on my part that I shouldn't have bought. and one is still in the wrapping. But I don't complain about the games really, I just learned I need to buy what looks interesting to me and not everyone else. That is the reason I don't have the other 6 from your list. With that mindset I haven't played a bad game on the Wii since... People should quit making stupid lists and instead play what they want and enjoy them.

There's nothing wrong with being critical at times; the problem is created when one is constantly complaining and trying to make their opinions sound like the law. I think most of us have at least one gripe with the Wii, like with any other system (surprise!). In regards to this subject, despite some nice games here and there, I still don't think the majority of Wii efforts are what they deserve to be. What I find funny in the original statement is that apparently it's alright to trash certain games and those who buy them, but highlight others as if they are that far and away the best games on the system, when they aren't. Nothing wrong with ANY of the games you listed, but honestly, I wouldn't blame anyone who has decided to buy the Animal Crossings, Mario Parties, and even the Wii Musics of the world over them. People are free to buy what they like, and at the end of the day, that's the only thing I endorse, as I trust a person knows his/her own tastes better than any of us would.

Also, I've played a few of the games you've mentioned (Fire Emblem, Zack and Wiki, and Little King's Story, to be specific). Good? Yeah, I suppose... but even I have a few games in mind I would choose over them if given the choice. There are only a handful of games that I would consider definite must-buys on the Wii, and none of them happen to be on that list. :P I'm with you on the complaining part to a great degree, but you lost me with everything else.

Wrong. The "must have" games are the ones that are the best for the system and really shouldn't be missed by its most enthusiastic owners and even those who bought the system on a whim. It's just that in the case for Nintendo's systems, most of them are Nintendo-published. Still, that's not to say that a superb third party game can't make be that system-defining game. Heck, many would say RE4 was that game for the GameCube, and guess what? It not only sold on that sell, it has been successful on the Wii, as well. :P

I hear what you're saying about third party games in general (even though some of the games you listed are Nintendo's but whatever... :P), but you know what? I'm tired of hearing this notion that third party games should be supported because they are just that. If you think a game is appealing to you, you buy it. It's really that simple. And if people trust a certain brand or company's line of work more than others, more power to them and that company. It just means that the other companies have to do a better job to get the consumer to trust into their products, as well, and as far as Wii third party publishers go, they still have a long way to go in that respect. This is coming from someone who has seen his Wii collection grow a bit faster than expected by a number of recent third party releases (albeit WiiWare games, but details...), so let's not make it look like third parties are getting the cold shoulder treatment, regardless of what they do.

As for that last part, it looks like you're adding to the arguement that you're becoming the one who is doing the most complaining in this thread. First, you were complaing about what Wii owners are buying, and now, you're going on with the whole "where's my *insert game here*" rant that is common with a lot of the typical Wii complaints these days. I would be careful with calling the kettle black, especially when I just might be a pot... :P

I have three of those games on that list, and they're quite delicious.

oleface

so whats the keep back from checking out the rest??

Procrastination and money. Most of that list is already on my get-it list, but there's a bit too much to keep track of.

I do not ever see Wii owners complaining to be honest, the only people who complain are the ones that do not own a Wii but feel the need to go "lol casuals" to validate themselves.
