Are games that use the Wii Zapper compatible with the Wii Perfect Shot? Such games like House of The Dead 2 and 3 Returns, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, and Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition.

HoTD: Overkill certainly is. And it's the only way to play!

yes and it makes them awesome... I love to play house of the dead 2 and 3 by myself but play 2 player (one gun in each hand)

Yes. I'd highly suggest the perfect shot over the zapper (but I do like Link's Crossbow Training.)

The Perfect Shot adds nothing to the experience.

Yes, both are just plastic shells and can be used with any game you want.

I really don't understand why people spend money on pieces of plastic except Zapper because it comes with Link's crossbow training.

I have to agree with this. I think a lot of people who use them like to think that they are adding to the experience but they really don't do much for me anyway. You are still pointing a cursor at the screen and the plastic shell doesn't make it feel like a light gun game. My recommendation: don't buy this plastic shell, or any other plastic gun shell.

logically what you are saying right... before I used the perfect shot I thought just like you do. I think what sets the perfect shot apart from the others is the spring in the trigger. I hate the zapper because there is not spring but I love he perfect shot and while HOTD 2/3 is the only game I have used it with I think that playing with the perfect shot is immeasurably better than just playing with the wiimote.

Compatible? That's like asking if a fork is compatible with other food than pasta. The Zapper and Perfect Shot are just things you put the controller in.

Yeah, but there are some games specifically designed for the zapper.

Let's put it this way. Unless you want Link's Crossbow Training, don't buy either.

Yeah what you're saying would make sense, but I bought and have used the Perfect Shot. I originally only played all the light gun type games (Ghost Squad and HOTD) with the Perfect Shot. Then I popped the controller out and had just as much fun. For me, and I think for others, the Perfect Shot doesn't add much at all to the fun.
