its on the 23rd i believe - 0900 - 1000 UK time (coz im in the UK.. so i know the time here). "Wii Prove Our Promise" 1000 - 1100 (German Time - where the conference will be held) 23rd August Leipzig (sp?) Games Convention Gamespot will not show the press conferene live as it will be broadcasted in German anyway. Hope we see loads of sadness actualli! sadness will rock! realli lookin forward to tht game aswell!! Also - miyamotos new IP - tht shud be an interesting thing to c.. i hope its more serious this time around, rather than the colourful pikmin and mario games - dnt get me wrng, i luv those, but i think it'll b kool to c wat miyamoto can do wen creating a dark atmosphere game. we're seeing a hint of it in LoZ:TP maybe? Another good game i want to see: Disaster day of crisis. the potential this game has is enormous! im interestd to c how u can "fight nature" tho.

then you must not like most of the mario series, because that's what half of it is if you consider that a spin-off. that would make all of the SSB's spin-offs, all of the mario sports games spin-offs, all of the mario party games spin-offs... and basically anything else that features mario but isn't a Super Mario game.

Nowadays, yes. But if Nintendo would quit its crappy spinoffs and make more than one true Mario game per platform, like they did basically before N64 (original Game Boy, NES, and SNES all has multiple Mario games), then they'd get a lot more money. Hmm..... Do I want to play Mario playing basketball, or Mario......doing Mario-ish stuff? It's really a no-brainer.
 On August 23rd 4:15am Eastern Time, the release date could be announced, as well as the price. So thats, 2 days, 16 hours and 56 minutes from where im at and what time it is.

All i want to know is the release date and price point, that way i can get my preorder on!  Also, if it is going down ona wednesday in Germany at 9-10(A.M. i presume), what time is that EST? and doesnt that mean that we will get the info like tuesday night or something cause they are a day ahead of us? i dont pay much attention to worldwide times so if anyone has a quick answer that would be good!  WIII cant wait!

I hope they announce some new games and third party support. DQ9 perhaps? Also i'd like to see a VC line up. I'd also like to see this much discussed supposed "big secret", which i think probably doesn't exist.
I can't wait. Give me price, release date, new game announcements, and some sort of confirmation on the voice recognition rumor. Imagine not just choosing responses for games like KOTOR, but actually reading them aloud. Imagine taunting enemies with specific phrases and insults and getting a response from those enemies.Â
We have to keep this thread alive and I can't wait. I can't for the chance for some more footage of games and info and maybe the realease of information of 5 more games.
