For the first time ever I played Wii without the remote jacket. WOW, what a difference! It feels great, and the rumble is stronger. Does anyone actually prefer the feel of the remote with the jacket on?

I play with the jacket and will leave it that way since playing without the jacket can make the controller itself dirty and scratched....

Eh I like the 'cushiony' feel of the Jacket so I just keep it on.

I don't use the jackets any more. I only ordered them from nintyendo because they were free.

It's a lot more comfortable when it's naked

I think its a pretty awesome addition. It gives the controller a nice weight, and comfy feel. I like how Nintendo handled the redesign of their controller instead of their normal route. (Note the Wavebird, SP, and DS Lite) Yeah, it is a different situation, but I still like the cheaper way out.. Ironically I did buy a Lite. I can't resist the shiny.

The one downside is I cannot play Brawl at all with the Jacket on. So I find myself taking the jacket off frequently.

I always have the jackets on. It helps to keep the wiimotes clean, plus it sits more nicely in my hand. Although, it feels appropiate to play 2-button VC games with the jacket off. Feels more like the old NES/TG-16 controllers.

I stopped using the jacket a while ago when I bought a charging dock. It's a pain to keep taking off the jacket and then put it back on after charging. I find the remote far more comfortable without the jacket and it gets less dirty where the button holes in the jacket are.

I only take off the Jacket if I need to change batteries or I'm trying to since my Remote to my friends' Wii.

Other than that, I always play with the Jacket.

How about washing your hands and cutting your fingernails? Seriously though, I can't stand the feeling of that rubber thing so I never use it. Good news are that I didn't get pregnant yet.

When I have young kids and intoxicated people playing I will put them on, otherwise I like them bare. Nintendo have spent millions on the product in order to save millions in claims, now that Motion + is on the way I imagine that they will need to re-invest on new ones.

I don't use it because it gets annoying having to take it off everytime I use teh Wii Wheel, I use the zapper, or I use the Guitar Hero guitar. It gets too annoying.

I can understand Nintendo's reasons for making the wiimote jacket, I just never took the time to order any. Not really worth the effort.

I think it's more comfortable with them on, and it keeps my hands from getting as sweaty. I really like them, but now I have a Nyko charger, so I just leave them off, because it's annoying to take them off when ever I'm done.

My hands sweat a lot when I play games especially certain games like DBZ B3 cause of all the movement so the jacket keeps it clean.

I'm the only one in my family that uses the Wii Remote jackets. I like them. It feels kind of... awkward when I play with a naked Wii Remote now.

However, when I play games like Excite Truck, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Brothers, and the like, where I must hold the Wii Remote like I would a NES controller, I prefer to take the Wii Remote jacket off.

I don't know I haven't used it naked for a long time but what I remember is that it got really hot in the back side because of the batteries and I felt a bit unconfortable about it (especially in summer)

I don't use neither the jacket nor the wrist strap because I'm not careless.
