My Wii remotes both worked fine until one day one of them would not work. I tried to resink it and it would work for like 5 seconds but then the remote would shut off

Ive tried changing the batteries, and ive also tried using it as first player but it still wont work?

When that happened to me I cut my Wii off and put a game in(while it was off) . When the system came back on my controller worked again.

Had the same problem, probably just a BlueTooth thing. I'd say to take the batteries out and let the remote sit for awhile and then put them back in and resync. All I can think of.

I had the same problem. Just unplug the wii and wait for 5 minutes.then plug it back in. Then just power it up and re synch it.

i took the batteries out. i think my wii drained one set of batteries like it was candy. just bought some rechargable ones, not sure if they are the correct ones. will any AA batteries work with the wii-mote?
