my cat ate through the wire to the sensor that goeson top of the tv. i reconnected the wires 3 or 4 times trying to get the remote to locate the sensor. it makes no sense to me, is there something i need to reset on the console or a very precise way of connecting the wires, because everything is connected but the hand never shoes up on the tv. thanks for any help.

Strip the gray plastic/rubber off the wire and connect andtape each individual wire within the gray cord. Then wrap tape around all of them as a whole.

New sensor bar is 20 bucks. Call Nintendo or buy a third party wireless one.

It is in the manuals that come with your system and games.
