I don't have a wii. I have played it and motion controls put me off, but there are a lot of games i want to play on it. Is there a way to play it without motion controls? Most games are made to go with motion controls so if there is a way to play without it, will i be losing out on some of the experience?

many games (Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.) have multiple control options such as using the gamecube controller or classic controller. many Wii games also use very limited motion controls. most Wii games i own balance out the motion controls and standard button controls. hope i was of some help

A big part of the best games aren't even using motion control or barely...
