I'm currently renting COD3 and while I've been impressed with the Wii remote's rumble in other games i've got to give up for COD3's use of it.  It has several unique rumbles depending on what gun you're using.  While this has been done before in other games and on other systems the Wii remote just flat out does it better.  The feel of the MG42 is pretty amazing.  I haven't played the 360 enough to comment but does anyone else feel the same way?

I thought I was crazy at first, but yeah, play Twilight Princess. The rumble adds so much. The intensity changes for each step the bosses take as the floor rumbles. In games like that, it adds a lot more than a speaker could. Rumble is not dead, no matter what others may want to tell you.

I will admit that when I was using a machine gun and just unloading on enemies, i just couldn't keep my aim straight!  Why memorize tilt angles when you can learn to compensate visually!  And I totally agree that the rumble is set just right so that when i fire a long-distance shot i feel the kickback from the chamber accelerating the bullet.  Most satisfying.

The Wii rumble is very cool, although I'm sure some feel that it is over used (put your cursor over anything in the menu and it rumbles), but I like it. It makes a bit of noise when it rumbles harder though.

Actually the pointer is what really eats up battery life. The battery once went low while playing TP, but then I turned the pointer off and suddenly the battery life went up to three bars.

Anyways yeah I agree the rumble is great, but way too noisy.

LMAO.

I think the speakers use up the battery quickly. The ruble is excellent, once again, going back to LoZ TP, when your riding the horse and the little clunck each step. It makes you feel inside the game. I don't know why it hasn't been done before really. I have never noticed interesting rumble. I suppose it is the way you hold it or something...

I love the way developers are using rumble these days, it adds alot to the experience. Like in Zelda it feels so much better with the rumble on. I remember buying a rumble pack for my N64 and it was just awful, the rumble has really improved.
