i was wondering if the remotes ran on batteries or what and if they dont, how do you charge them and how long do they last.

Yeah they use batteries, but I think it doesnt work with rechargeable batteries. And they last for like, 20 hours...

they do run on on batteries  but you can buy batteri packs that are rechargeable

You can use standard batteries and rechargeable batteries in the wii remote... i use rechargeable - saves money

They run on 2 AA's, you get 30 hours playing games that use the motion and pointer (Zelda TP) 40 hours playing games that just use motion (Excite truck). You can buy rechargables but they have to be NiMH, no NiCH or lithium ion ( it's in the user manual). Don't use dollar store batteries cause they suck and only last an hour and a half, I use Energizer they seem to last pretty long.

I think rechargable AAs only last 12 hours even on 2500 mAH capacity.

how long do yours last? Mine go down the 3 bars after about an hour and then they last for AGES (About 20 hours) and then die. Fortunatly, i got a recharging pack with 6 batteries!

Mine last way longer than that.
