Wii scratches disks?

Alright I jsut got my Wii this weekend I keep my games disc in perfect condition I dont leave it in the concle I dont lets my brothers toch it and I keep it in a case. Then today I decided to Play some Wii sports when I turn the disc around it has scratches. WTF?! I'm pretty sure my brothers didn't mess with it so how the heck does it have scrathes has anyone have this problem before?

Cardboard sleeves scratch disks. I'm in the US and we got Sports and Link's Crossbow in sleeves which I put in Wii cases ASAP.

I did that as well. There's no sense in not protecting those games and keeping them in a flimsy piece of cardboard to get all scratched up.
