If they were coming out with Wii Sports 2, what sport would you like to see on it? Volleybal would be my pick.

Hockey - This would probably be very simple for wii mote script. Only problem I see with it is moving the character. You would hold the wii mote like the golf club and to hit it at the power you want it would be like the golfing setup in Wii Sports.
Basketball - This could also work, but again moving the characters... To dribble the ball hold the Wiimote below the sensor bar (below your stomach) and flick it up and down. To shoot hold it above the sensor bar (above your chest) and depending on how hard you flick your wrist is how much power you use, as if you were shooting in real life.
Volleyball - It would have the same controls as the volleyball on WarioWare, but when you want to hit the ball down you just hold the Wiimote above your head (above the sensor bar) and you would hit the ball in a downward direction. hold the Wiimote below your chest to bump it up. (below sensor bar)
Football - This would be my second option. Use the Wiimote to aim at the player you want to throw the ball to. Then bring it back like a real football and throw. Then depending on how hard you throw it will either be too long of a pass or too short and be incomplete.
Other - This sport is very fun I play it all the time with my friends haha. Now you guys can think of some more sports. And explain how it might work.
YA! DODGEBALL.... then foosball b/c I am tired and read the football as foosball... but foosball you could hold the wii mote sideways and scroll between the different sticks with the arrows and then just rotate and spin the wii mote to control the stick :D
Basketball is my favorite sport but i dont see the Wii mote really being useful in that sport. And Volleyball is alot like tennis so I would pick hockey.
I think Volleyball would be fantastic. It could be like that mini-game in Wario Ware but of course more complex like you would switch to a one hand downward motion for spiking and such.Â
Hockey's my favorite sport on the list, but I wouldn't buy a Wii Sports 2. I don't think there was enough game inside Wii Sports to warrant paying for it. It's like a tech demo.
or maybe instead of Wii Sports 2 call it Extreme Wii Sports with games like snowboarding, skateboarding, biking, paintball(if that could be considered extreme). I don't know, just an idea. Of the sports you listed though, I think volleyball would be the best.

i dont think snowboarding and skateboarding would go well with the Mii concept. unless the miss look like they did in wario ware, thoes were exelent.
One of my freinds wouldnt like that. One time we were discussing what games should be on wii sports 2, and he did the motion that would be involved in sweeping on it, and he managed to whack himself in the privates. It was the funniest thing ever.
Anyway, I think cricket would rule on wii sports 2.

Yeah, the regular miis probably wouldn't look right. They could change them though.
Just a thought about the basketball idea -- NBA Live 07 is coming out for the Wii, and I imagine it will play just like Madden 07 does, with the possible difference of the "kick function" being either nothing or being a way to free throw or a really long shot.
