Has anyone played Wii Sports on Boxing, and when on skill level 800 oppenents, that all your hits seem to miss, by either going total wack and punching to the far left or right not were they are standing? Is it my Console?! But it seems to work alright on other games!? Could someone give me some tips and help here?!?!

It's not you. The controls for that game are broken.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. When playing against a weak opponent, the controls are decent since the overall movement is slower. But when the action gets faster, the controls are unresponsive.

Well, a few weeks ago, my school (yes my school, and I ain't making this up) had a Wii boxing tournament and I won. I was very lucky on the last round though because my opponent beat me down within a few seconds, then my guy got up at 5 seconds and I beat my opponent down.

I was VERY lucky.:D

I won a $10 gift card BTW, which isn't much, but I got bragging rights as well.

I'm actually really good at this game--the key is using your wrists, not actually moving your arms a whole lot. It gets very challenging on the higher levels. The really tricky thing is that it keeps track of how well you do throughout your career. I was knocking down Mii's in about thirty seconds. When it started getting harder, it took me longer to beat people down, like two minutes. Even if I won, I would still lose points on my graph because I wasn't doing as well as before. That was my only complaint with this game. I found the controls pretty responsive, actually.

I created a Little Mac Mii the other day for Wii Boxingto start getting pumped up for Punch-Out!!

I am over 2000 skill points on Wii Boxing and there is a very simple way to get there. You must counter fight against CPU opponents by weaving back and forth until the the slowdown effect, which indicates that there is an opening in your opponent's defense, triggers. When that happens unload a combo of straight punches. It also helps to switch levels between the head and body. Repeat this technique until your opponent collapses to the canvas in a heap of brain-damaged unconsciousness. Also you can probably win without taking a punch as long as you watch your opponent's eyes when you are on the offensive. When you land your first shottheir eyes will close. Keep punching until their eyes open, then jump back intoweaving and waiting for an opening. Enjoy your future success.

It tries too hard to be 1:1. They should have mapped simpler movements on the screen instead of having the Mii trying to guess exactly what you are trying to do.
