wii sports multiplayer trouble

Yesterday i could play single player wii sports but whenever i tried to play multiplayer it froze has this happend to anyone else

I have not had any problems with mine freezing on Wii sports, but it has frozen once on another game.  I had to just unplug the power cord to get it to reset.

For some reason, I can't get Warioware to work multiplayer. It always wants a third controller for a two player game.
