Ok i try to wash my wii yesterday because i try to play Zelda wind walker. which i haven't played for at least two years. so i tried to play it and the game didn't work so i tried and investigate then i realised that they was about 2 small scratches so i tried to use the technique of using toothpaste and hot water then i checked no more scratches on it worked, when i started it up it came up with the message ' Disc Could not be read. Turn the Power Off and check the Nintendo GameCube Instruction Booklet for further instructions.' i tried it about 10 time before i tried a few other game most of them didn't work and they were in perfect condistion and i tried 'SSX blur' which i have never played until i tried to see if it worked but it didn't so i thought it might of been the wii, so i unplugged it and i looked at the air holes and it was full of dust. i thought that might of been the problem so i got some spray and a cloth i tried blowing and spraying to get the dust out and when i was done ii cleaned it with a cloth i left the whole thing unplugged so the water could evaporate. I waited about 10-12 hours so about 9am this morning i plugged in my wii console and it wouldn't power up i thought cause i had an extension lead with about 8 plugs in it that it didn't have much power so i tried it with me other plug socket and nothing again i was wondering if was cause i was spraying water in the wii, that cause it was working. If anyone has any thought on how they can help please tell me i really will appreciate it.

I hope you are joking. Read your system manual for instruction on how to properly care for and maintain it. Also while you're at it look up your warrenty information.

The topic creator isn't typing in paragraph form (with grammar/punctuation errors), and sprayed water in an electronic device...

It wouldn't be far-fetched to guess that the TC is an under-aged user.

Sorry, but you just broke your Wii. Best check your warranty and see if you can beg Nintendo to fix it for you, but I doubt that kind of abuse would be covered in it :P

Sorry dude, but spraying water in a Wii wasn't a great idea :( You could try to get it repaired, but your Wii might be gone to the gamign shelf in the sky

I mean besides the obvious pun *Washed his Wii*, and the obvious bit of Common Sense *You Washed A Gaming Console?*. Just take it to a repair shop or send it to Nintendo. I'm just going to be honest, I'm going to laugh all night about this. I hope you get your system fixed but please use common sense next time.

A what point did spraying water into a console seem like a good idea? I thought it was common sense to keep water well away from electrics.
