Wii system update?

I just got a wireless router along with some Xbox 360 games and Wii games. So I setup everything and go to play Animal Crossing LGTTC. So I install the updates and all that and then a friend calls and says "Hey wanna play AC with Wii Speak" So I say "yeah" and go to Wii Shop Channel and it tells me of an update. So I go to Wii System Update and it gets about 25% done and then it says "Unable to apply update"

Please Help!

I have tried the Nintendo Channel and it says that needs an update too!

I have tried updating though Wii Settings and no luck. I am getting a Nintendo worker to come out and fix it. By the way my internet wasn't down because my brother was playing Gears 2 with his friends on Xbox Live.
